In 2009 Essex based musical instrument retail chain PMT, Professional Music Technology, picked up the award for "Best Music Retailer" for the fourth year running. The award was presented to the company at the MIA Awards in London.
PMT employ a committed, well trained, and dedicated workforce that shares a personal and active relationship with its customers and the wider community; which is why they have won the 'Best Music Retailer chain' for four years running between 2006 and 2009.
Now with EIGHT superstores across the UK, PMT are going from strength to strength providing more and more for the music instrument retail and educational needs of the market.
RECORD BREAKING
Also in 2009 PMT sponsored the 'Stick it to MS' world record breaking drum attempt at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena, raising over £50,000 for the MS Society.
A total of 582 drummers - including a number of celebrity musicians - smashed the previous world record of 533 drummers, set in the United States.
Drummers as young as five and as old as 50 travelled from across the UK to take part in the record bid, believed to be the UK's first attempt.
A number of special guest drummers joined in, including Slade's Don Powell and Cold Feet and Coronation Street actor John Thomson. |
